This cherished experience inspired the creation of this beautiful shawl pattern. The Hummingbird Shawl is a ¾ shawl made up of three elegant triangles that come together to drape gracefully over your shoulders. For this project, you will need fingering weight yarn, specifically two skeins of the main color (MC) and one skein of each contrasting color (CC1 and CC2). It is important to choose CC1 and CC2 in high-contrast shades to make the mosaic section pop. For the sample, the darkest color was used as CC2, creating a striking combination.
