Winter beanie - knitting pattern

Winter beanie

$4.52

This season, I'm excited to share my favorite winter beanie pattern that has quickly become a must-have accessory in my wardrobe (so far, it's the winner! ?). This charming beanie features a stylish corrugated ribbing that not only adds texture but also creates a snug fit. At the bottom, you'll find a delightful snowflake peerie design, while the body showcases a beautiful winter landscape complete with a cozy fence, quaint houses, and elegantly detailed trees. To top it all off, the upper half of the beanie is sprinkled with whimsical snowflakes, culminating in a single, prominent white snowflake adorning the very top.

This cozy beanie is designed to accommodate head circumferences of up to 54 cm. If you're making it for a larger head size, you can easily adjust by using a bigger needle size, opting for 5-ply yarn (such as Buttinette Merino Madeleine), or a combination of both for the perfect fit!

For this project, I exclusively used Buttinette sock yarn söckli 4-ply in a rich dark blue and a soft off-white. You'll need approximately 40 grams of each color to complete the beanie. With its simple two-color knitting technique, this pattern is also ideal for those who are new to color knitting, making it an excellent choice for beginners looking to build their skills.

Note: There was a small error in the original pattern that instructed knitters to purl one row in black. It has been corrected, and the accurate instruction is now "purl one row in blue." I've updated the pattern accordingly and notified all buyers about this change to ensure a smooth knitting experience.

Embrace the joys of winter with this charming handmade beanie that is not only stylish but also functional. Whether you’re knitting for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a loved one, this pattern is sure to bring warmth and joy. Enjoy this delightful knitting project, and happy knitting!
