Yarn Requirements: This lovely cardigan uses 1,320 (1,430, 1,650, 1,760) yards of Aran or Worsted weight yarn. For our sample sweater, we selected Knit Picks Wool of the Andes (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 110 yards/50 grams) in the beautiful Artic Pool Heather 23894, requiring 12 (13, 15, 16) skeins. This quality yarn ensures not just comfort, but also durability and warmth.
Gauge Information: To achieve the best results, ensure your gauge is 18 stitches and 25 rows to equal 4 inches in stockinette stitch. Always check your gauge before you start!
Necessary Tools: You'll need size 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles and a size 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook. Adjust your needle and/or hook size as needed to get the correct gauge for your unique knitting style.
