Size: One Size - Medium Adult Circumference: 22” with an Height of 8 ½”. The gauge for this project is 24 stitches and 22 rows per 4 inches in the cabled pattern, ensuring a perfect fit and a professional look.
Materials:
- US 6 (4.25 mm) 16” circular needle or a needle two sizes smaller than the gauge needle for a snug fit.
- US 8 (5.00 mm) (or size needed to achieve the correct gauge), with both a 16” circular and US 8 (5.00 mm) double-pointed needles, or suitable needles for working small circumferences in the round.
- Approximately 160 yards of worsted weight yarn. For the sample, we used Lion Brand Martha Stewart Crafts’ Extra Soft Wool Blend in gray pearl; just one skein (165 yards), composed of 65% acrylic and 35% wool for warmth and comfort.
- A Cable Needle for creating those intricate cable stitches.
- A Stitch Marker to help keep track of your rounds.
- A Yarn Needle for weaving in ends and finishing touches.
- Scissors for cutting the yarn when your project is complete.
