Recommended Needles:
You will need two size 1 (2.25mm) circular needles, 16” (40cm) or longer; it's not necessary for the two needles to be of the same length. Alternatively, you can use a set of 5 double-pointed needles (dpns) in size 1 (2.25mm) for a classic knitting experience.

Gauge:
The gauge for this pattern is critical. You should achieve 18 stitches and 27 rounds = 2 inches in stockinette stitch when worked in the round. Additionally, for the Wheat Sheaf Rib (unstretched), aim for 24 stitches and 28 rounds = 2 inches, also worked in the round.
