Zephyr Shawlette
The Zephyr Shawlette is an exquisite asymmetric triangle shawl pattern, designed to be worked flat from the pointed tip to its generous wide end. Named for the gentle west wind, this beautifully crafted shawlette showcases an arrow-like lace pattern that elegantly points from west to east, accompanied by a delightful bubbly eyelet motif that dances softly in the breeze.
This knitting pattern is highly adaptable, allowing you to modify it easily to fit your available yardage. Most of the shawlette features straightforward stockinette stitch, making it a perfect project for meditative knitting or multitasking while you create. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced knitter, the Zephyr Shawlette is the perfect choice to express your creativity!
The lovely gray shawlette displayed in the images was crafted using 550 yards of the now-discontinued Lane Borgosesia Bollicina, a luxurious blend of cashmere and silk. The stunning gradient shawlette was made with a 460-yard skein of Canon Hand Dyes William, while the vibrant blue-green version utilized a 480-yard skein of Fiber Seed Sprout. Remember, more yarn means more cozy shawlette to snuggle up in during chilly evenings!
The eye-catching red shawlette features Hazel Knits Entice MCN yarn, perfectly color-coordinated to match my favorite boots. The cashmere content in this yarn not only adds a touch of elegance but also ensures that the shawlette is incredibly soft and lovely to wear.
