Inspired by the remarkable Apollonie Sabatier, who captivated the imagination of artists such as the renowned sculptor Auguste Clésinger, this shawl pays homage to her legacy. Clésinger immortalized Apollonie in his striking piece titled "Woman, bitten by a snake" (1847), which serves as the artistic backdrop for the stylish scale motif featured in this shawl design.
