Baseball Jacket

$4.85

Introducing our completely seamless jacket knitting pattern, perfect for little ones from newborn to 4 years old! This unique design allows you to work the body of the jacket flat in one piece, starting from the bottom and moving up to the armholes. Once you reach the armholes, you'll pick up the sleeve stitches and knit them top down, culminating in a stylish double cuff detail.

The shoulder seams are elegantly grafted using the Kitchener Stitch, ensuring a polished finish that is both comfortable and visually appealing. With sizes ranging from newborn to 4 years, this versatile pattern suits infants and toddlers alike, making it an ideal project for baby showers or children’s clothing collections.

You have the freedom to use any yarn that meets your gauge, but I personally recommend Stylecraft DK for its quality and ease of use. For the smallest size, you’ll be delighted to know that you can create two jackets from just a single ball of each color, allowing for creative expression without a significant cost. The color choices are customizable, reflecting your individual taste or your customer's preferences. I can't wait to see the beautiful creations you come up with!

For an optimal knitting experience, I found that using circular needles works significantly better than double-pointed needles (DPNs), especially when crafting the double cuff. PLEASE NOTE: You will need a second 3.25mm circular needle (or you can opt for straight needles). Initially, you'll knit one rib section and then a second one before working both together to assemble the double cuff seamlessly.

This pattern not only offers a practical and fashionable item for children’s wardrobes but also provides an enjoyable knitting adventure for crafters. Get started on this delightful jacket and create a cherished garment that will keep little ones warm and stylish!
