Fireside Sweater
Full Disclosure: You need to have the ability to read charts to follow this intricate pattern. This is my first knitting design, and I crafted this cozy sweater in the x-small size. I also did some math to efficiently upsize the sweater to accommodate larger sizes. Additionally, I chose a heavier yarn because I reside in a colder climate, making this sweater a perfect choice for warmth.
Tips for Success: Remember, sweater charts typically start on the Wrong Side. This comprehensive pattern spans 17 pages and includes several parts of the charts that are color-coded for easier use. To ensure the best experience, print the pattern in color or review the PDF version on your computer before you start knitting.
The Fireside Sweater is a beautifully designed shawl-collared cabled cardigan. The eye-catching overlapping center cable not only adds texture but continues through the dramatic shawl collar, providing an appealing look. Smaller cables adorn the sides, deftly accentuating the larger central cables, which elegantly house the buttons and buttonholes. This design is perfect for knitters looking to create a unique and stylish cardigan that offers both comfort and functionality.
