BENGAL TIGER toy knitting pattern by Georgina Manvell
This pattern is available for PDF download only and does not include the finished Bengal Tiger toy. Our Bengal Tiger measures an impressive 28cm high at the shoulders and 56cm long when completed inDK yarn, making him one of the most lifelike tiger designs available today!
The original Bengal Tiger knitting pattern first appeared in the April 1992 issue of Home & Country magazine, featured in an article titled "Knit on the Wild Side" dedicated to Endangered Species. We are proud to include a nostalgic image of the original Tiger design as it appeared in the magazine, showcasing its timeless appeal.
Recognizing the importance of keeping this iconic design fresh, we decided to give the Bengal Tiger a new look. While the pattern remains unchanged from its original version, both the designer Georgina Manvell and I, Suzannah Holwell, have collaborated to provide it in a more modern format. Together, as designers, we share the copyright for this project.
Immerse yourself in a unique crafting experience and celebrate wildlife conservation by creating your very own Bengal Tiger. This family-friendly knitting project is suitable for intermediate knitters looking to expand their skills while crafting a delightful and realistic toy. Share the joy of knitting and the importance of endangered species with friends and family!
