Betula Ring

$6.00

Looking to elevate your winter wardrobe with a stylish and versatile accessory? Meet the Betula Ring, a unique shape-shifting cowl that offers both comfort and flair! This design combines a button placket collar with a cozy stockinette loop, making it the perfect addition to any outfit. Knitted from just one skein of luxurious bulky yarn, the Betula Ring is not only quick to complete, but also wonderfully warm—ideal for chilly days.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
CIRCUMFERENCE: 20” (50.8 cm)

MATERIALS:
YARN: For this project, you will need one skein of Three Irish Girls Springvale Bulky (100% Merino, 98 yds / 4 oz) in the beautiful Winter Birch colorway. Be aware that if you use the recommended yarn, you may use up every last yard, so it’s crucial to keep an eye on your gauge. To help manage this, I suggest attaching your gauge swatch to the skein so you can unravel it before casting on.

NEEDLES: You will need a 16” circular needle and one double-pointed needle (DPN) in US size 10 (6 mm), or whichever size is necessary to achieve the desired gauge.

NOTIONS: Gather one stitch marker and three buttons, approximately 1” in diameter (for this sample, JHB brand, item #1670 was used), along with a darning needle for weaving in ends once you finish your project.

GAUGE:
Achieve a gauge of 12 stitches and 19 rows in 4 inches of stockinette stitch for a lasting and beautifully crafted cowl.

The Betula Ring is not just a fashion statement; it's an opportunity for knitters of all skill levels to create a stunning piece that enhances any winter outfit. Whether you're treating yourself or making a thoughtful gift, this cowl is sure to impress. Don't miss out on this easy and rewarding project—gather your materials, and let’s get knitting!
