Yarn: For this project, you’ll need the luxurious **Dragonfly Fibers Dragonfly Gradient in Dragon Sock** (100% Superwash Merino). This pattern requires 6 skeins, each weighing 1-ounce with 95 yards of beautiful gradient yarn. The soft texture and vibrant colors of this yarn will make your finished shawl a true work of art.
Needles: Use a 32” circular needle, size 4 US (3.5mm), or a size that allows you to obtain the desired gauge. The circular design helps accommodate the shawl's build and the extra stitches as you work.
Gauge: The recommended gauge is 20 stitches and 28 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked stockinette stitch. While achieving this gauge is not critical for this project, it will affect the shawl's final size, the yardage used, and the drape, so be sure to check your gauge for best results.

For beading, I recommend a size 12/1.00mm crochet hook. The sample shawl showcases 8 repeats of the motif, with each repeat using 36 6/0 beads. For the beads, we utilized one tube of **Beader’s Paradise 6/0 Czech Glass E Beads** in the enchanting colorway “Dragon’s Eyes,” which are conveniently available at Joann’s Fabrics.
