Skill Level: Intermediate. This pattern assumes that you possess a basic understanding of top-down sock construction, cabling techniques, decreases, and chart reading (which is essential for this project).
Materials Needed: You will require 1 set of US1.5 double-pointed needles (DPNs) or your preferred size to achieve the correct gauge. Some testers have successfully used the Magic Loop method along with stitch markers. A cable needle (or the ability to cable without a needle, which I strongly recommend) is also necessary, along with a tapestry needle, scissors, and a measuring tape.
Yarn Information: Approximately 400 yards of fingering weight yarn will be needed to complete this project.
Ease: This sock features a very slightly negative ease, making it a wonderfully stretchy and comfortable fit.
Size & Measurements: Offered in two sizes: Small (64 stitches) and Large (72 stitches).
--Calf: 9 inches for Small and 11 inches for Large, measured from cuff to heel.
--Foot: 8 inches for Small and 9 inches for Large, measured from heel to toe.
