This stunning 2/3 colour, triangular shawl is designed to be knitted from the TOP down. You will start by casting on the highest number of stitches needed, followed by knitting a foundation row. From there, the pattern features simple decreases on every row until you reach the end, making this project a delightful journey from start to finish!

You’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll complete this shawl! The CHRISTMAS JOY pattern incorporates two easy eyelet row variations along with a series of incredibly simple textured rows. Each instruction is clearly outlined in the pattern, ensuring that all decreases are easy to follow within the row instructions. Additionally, we provide a link to a selection of helpful YouTube tutorials on how to create beautiful tassels, enhancing the finishing touches of your new shawl.

PLEASE NOTE: Version 2 is also included in the pattern! This option allows for a DK/Light Worsted weight alternatively, achieved by using 2 strands of fingering or sport weight yarn on a 5.5mm needle. This version maintains the same stitch count on larger needles, which also adjusts the shawl's sizing to accommodate different preferences.
