Finished Measurements: The size of your shawl can be tailored to your preferences! You can finish your shawl at any time with the rows you select (see notes for more details). My sample measures approximately 67” (170 cm) in wingspan and 33.5” (85 cm) in depth, relaxed after a light blocking.
Yarn: This pattern uses Knit Picks Hawthorne Tonal (80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide Nylon, 357 yards/100g) in the main color (MC) Astoria, requiring 1 hank. For the contrasting color (CC), you’ll need 1 hank of Knit Picks Hawthorne Speckle (80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide Nylon, 357 yards/100g) in City Lights Speckle, or another fingering weight yarn. To achieve the best results, aim for an estimated yardage of 440 yards (400 meters) in 100 grams, using approximately 350 yards of each color.
