The Dune Cardigan is a beautifully cropped cardigan featuring charming little details that make it both stylish and functional. This delightful cardigan was inspired by the graceful beach grass swaying in the dunes of Juist, my favorite island tucked away in the North Sea.
This cardigan is uniquely crafted using a seamless top-down construction, allowing for a seamless and enjoyable knitting experience. Working it in one piece eliminates the hassle of seaming and provides a smooth finish that enhances the cardigan's overall look.
The sample cardigan was created using Aria by Lana Grossa, an ultra-light, weaving ribbon yarn that adds a touch of elegance to this design. Its delicate strands make for a soft, touchable fabric that’s perfect for warm-weather layering.
Approximate Yarn Requirements: To knit your very own Dune Cardigan, you will need approximately 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 8) skeins of Aria, or the equivalent in meters/yards: 800/875 (870/950, 970/1060, 1080/1180, 1200/1310, 1310/1430) of similar lightweight yarn.
