Materials
- Main Color: 300-400 yds of Fingering Weight Yarn
- Counter Color: 125 yds of Fingering Weight Yarn
- US 1.5 (2.50mm) 32-inch circular needle (or preferred length). Adjust needle size as necessary to match your gauge for the perfect fit.
- Removable stitch marker (1) for easy tracking
- Stitch markers (2) to help organize your stitches
Finished Sizes: 7 (8, 9) inch circumference (For best results, it’s recommended to aim for 1-inch negative ease. This snug fit enhances comfort and keeps your socks securely in place.)
Note: It’s important to understand that required yardage will vary depending on the size of the sock being knit. The yardage listed above assumes you’re working on the largest sock circumference with an exceptionally long foot. For reference, the sample socks were knit in the medium size suitable for a women’s size 6.5 shoe, using only 80 yds of Counter Color (CC) and 220 yds of Main Color (MC). Plan your yarn purchases accordingly to ensure you have enough for your project!
