HILD SWEATER is a beautifully designed knitting pattern that draws inspiration from Norwegian craft traditions. This unique sweater features a harmonious blend of elements from traditional knitting patterns and exquisite rose painting motifs. The design incorporates a variety of patterns, ensuring that the front piece, back piece, and sleeves each have their distinct styles, all while working seamlessly together.
YARNTumi (50 % alpaca, 50 % wool, 1 skein = 50 g = approx. 130 m / 142 yd): For the HILD SWEATER, you will need Black SFN50: 5 (6) 7 (7) 8 skeins, Offwhite SFN10: 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 skeins, Cerise B133: 1 skein, and Lilac 0347: 1 skein. This combination of yarn ensures warmth and softness, perfect for cozy wear during chilly seasons.
FIT & EASE The fit of the HILD SWEATER is designed to be quite snug, making it an ideal choice for layering or wearing on its own. If you prefer a tighter fit, select a size with minimal ease, about 2-6 cm / 0.5-2.5” around the bust. However, if you desire a more relaxed and comfortable fit, feel free to choose a larger size. The body, sleeves, and yoke of the sweater are all worked in the round, significantly reducing assembly time and allowing you to focus more on the joy of creating.
FABRIC CARE: To ensure the longevity of your HILD SWEATER, hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Proper care will help maintain the yarn’s softness and color vibrancy.
