In Succession Earwarmer
Originally designed as part of the festive 2019 Christmas in July Make Along, this cozy earwarmer is not only a charming accessory but also my very first published knitting pattern—an achievement I'm truly proud of!
This earwarmer features a delightful combination of simple knit and purl stitches, making it an ideal project for beginner knitters who are looking to hone their skills. Even though it takes a little bit of time to complete, the straightforward techniques ensure that you’ll be able to whip it up without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, it’s a perfect way to keep warm during the chilly winter months!
Materials Needed: For this project, you will need a small amount of chunky #5 yarn, or alternatively, you can use two strands of worsted weight yarn held together for a similar effect. In my version, I used two strands of Hobby Lobby's popular I Love This Yarn. You'll also require L11/8mm needles and a tapestry needle to finish your work securely.
Estimated Time for Completion: I was able to craft the adult small size in just 3 hours, making this a quick and satisfying project to enhance your wardrobe or gift to a loved one.
Available Sizes: This versatile earwarmer pattern is suitable for a range of sizes, including Toddler, Child, Teen/Adult Small, and Adult Large. Whether you're making it for a little one or for yourself, there's a perfect fit for everyone!
Gauge Information: While gauge is not essential for this pattern, keep it in mind if you want your earwarmer to have a specific fit or look.
Excitingly, the full knitting pattern is available for free on my blog, but if you prefer a cleaner version for your crafting setup, this printer-friendly version is here to streamline your knitting experience.
Join in on the fun and create this stylish, functional earwarmer to stay snug and chic during the winter season!
