Innes Mitts

It was an especially frosty South Canterbury morning, and as I sent my kids out to wait for the bus, I realized, to my horror, that they had no gloves or hats on. What a neglectful knitting mum! Feeling inspired to act quickly, I set off to design a pair of warm mitts that would keep their hands cozy. I've proudly named these mitts after my eldest’s middle name, a strong Scottish name that pays homage to his Dad’s Poppa. Perfectly fitting, as it’s an excellent name for a charmingly cozy accessory to wear on chilly mornings!
