For the sample, I used Glenheavenknits Silky Merino 8 Ply DK yarn in the Barn Owl colorway, which boasts 231 yards (212 meters) per 100 grams. The sample knitted in size S/M utilized approximately 45 grams of yarn, while the size L/XL sample used around 53 grams. Feel free to substitute with any similar DK weight yarn to bring your own creative flair to this project!
