1 - 6.5 inches (16 cm) hand circumference (mitten negative ease 1 inch or 2.5 cm)
2 - 7.5 inches (19 cm) hand circumference (mitten negative ease 1 inch or 2.5 cm)
3 - 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) hand circumference (mitten negative ease 1 inch or 2.5 cm)
4 - 9.5 inches (24 cm) hand circumference (mitten negative ease 1 inch or 2.5 cm)

Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 32 stitches x 48 rounds = 4 inches / 10 cm of stockinette stitch in the round using US size 1 - 2.25 mm circular needles. Adjust your needle size as needed to ensure you obtain this gauge for a perfect fit.

Materials Required:

  • Needles: US size 1 - 2.25 mm 9-inch (23 cm) circular needles and US size 1 - 2.25 mm 32-inch (80 cm) circular needles for magic loop technique.
  • Notions: 2 stitch markers — one to mark the beginning of the round and one additional marker, plus 1 tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Weight and Yardage: The estimated weight for the size 3 pair is approximately 45 grams, which corresponds to about 207 yards (189 meters) of fingering weight yarn. Additionally, you will need around 10 grams of contrast color yarn for the ribbed cuff.
