This pattern includes three enchanting versions of the angel: 1) the basic crochet version, 2) a second knitted variant embellished with 90 small beads sewn around the bottom edges of the sleeves and dress for a touch of sparkle, and 3) a third version featuring 326 small beads intricately worked into a lacy pattern that enhances its elegance. This lovely pattern is the creative work of designer Georgina Manvell and was first published in Home & Country magazine in 1983, reappearing in the My Weekly magazine on December 16, 1995. Recognizing the timeless charm of these lovely angels, we decided they deserved a fresh look, updating the photos to feature an exciting new format that beautifully captures the essence of their enchanting design.
