These finished mittens boast a comfortable size of 8 inches in circumference and 10 inches in length, ideal for keeping your hands warm during the colder months. If you prefer a larger fit, it's easy to achieve by simply going up a needle size or two.

For this project, we recommend using 2 balls of yarn in each color of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply jumper weight. For the Contrast Color (dark blue, as shown in the picture), I only used a small amount from the second ball. You may find that you can craft both mittens with just one ball of the Contrast Color, but to ensure you have enough yarn, it's best to have 2 balls on hand just in case you end up in a “yarn chicken” situation!

The colors featured in the mittens are Shade 21 and Shade FC7, using size 1 needles for a precise and snug fit. This charming pattern includes separate charts for knitting both the left and right hands, making it user-friendly for knitters of all skill levels.
