YARN: This pattern requires just 1 skein of Kettu Yarns Wooly Sock Sport, which is a delightful blend of 75% Superwash Virgin Wool and 25% Biodegradable Nylon. Each skein contains 260m [284yds] per 100g. For the best results, you may opt for any heavy sport weight or DK weight yarn with comparable yardage. The sample socks were crafted in the stunning colorway “Fog” and used approximately 161m/176yds of yarn, making them a fantastic choice for your next cozy project!

NEEDLES: You'll need 3mm [US 2.5] circular needles that are long enough for magic looping. Alternatively, you may choose a needle size that will allow you to achieve the correct gauge. Please note that while this pattern is specifically designed for the magic loop technique, it can also be easily adapted to short circular needles. If you prefer this method, we recommend ignoring the instructions for “needle 1 & needle 2” and instead using stitch markers to clearly indicate the beginning of the round and the halfway point of your project.

GAUGE: Achieve a gauge of 24 stitches and 36 rounds per 10cm [4”] in stockinette stitch after blocking, paired with the 3mm [US 2.5] needles. This gauge is essential for ensuring your socks fit perfectly and maintain their lovely shape.
