Nordic Lace Mitts (Instructions to work flat)

After creating the cozy and stylish Nordic Lace Hat, I realized that the beautiful pattern repeat would look fabulous on a pair of matching mittens too! As someone who often faces chilly hands at work, I wanted to design mittens that are not only fashionable but also functional enough to allow me to type comfortably.

For the Small Size mittens, the gauge is 26 stitches and 40 rounds to achieve a 10x10 cm (4x4 in) square over the Chart, using 3.5mm (UK 10-9/US 4) needles. This size is perfect for those who prefer a snug fit without sacrificing warmth.

The Medium Size features a gauge of 24 stitches and 38 rounds to 10x10 cm (4x4 in) over the Chart, utilizing 3.75mm (UK 9/US 5) needles. This mid-range size adds a little more room while still maintaining a stylish silhouette.

For the Large Size, the gauge is 23 stitches and 35 rounds to 10x10 cm (4x4 in) over the Chart, worked with 4mm (UK 8/US 6) needles. This option is designed for those who prefer a more spacious mitten, combining comfort with chic design.
