Oasis
Oasis is a beautifully designed elegant stole available in two lengths—tall and petite (displayed in the tall option). This knitting pattern features a diagonal working style, combining easy garter stripes with a lovely lace pattern also worked in striped designs, along with an added beaded lace element for that extra touch of sophistication.
Materials Needed: To create the stunning Oasis stole, you will need Lang Merino 200 Bébé (4ply; 100% Merino Wool; 203m/222yds per 50g), requiring a total of 7 (7) balls. The gorgeous shade used in the sample is 0320 Ice Blue (C1) with 4 (4) balls needed, and for a pop of color, 0379 (C2) Turquoise x 3 (3) balls are also required.
Tools: You will need 4mm (UK 8/US 6) knitting needles to complete this project, along with Debbie Abrahams Seed Beads size 6 in color 756 Ocean—approximately 270 beads (1 bag). A 0.75mm (US 14) crochet hook is also recommended for any finishing touches.
Difficulty Level: The Oasis stole pattern is categorized as Easy to Intermediate, making it suitable for knitters who are ready to try new techniques and embellishments.
Size Specifications: This stole comes in two sizes: for the Tall version, the length is 270cm/106¼in, while the Petite version measures 222cm/87½in. The width remains consistent at 70cm/27½in, providing ample drape and elegance for any occasion.
Tension Information: Achieve a tension of 15.5 stitches and 28 rows over a 10cm/4in gauge in Sections 1 and 2 after blocking. While exact tension is not crucial, please note that variations in tension may influence the final size and the quantity of yarn required for your stole.
