Create a stunning cabled throw with ease using our free knitting pattern! The Cascade Magnum yarn creates a luxurious and stylish fabric that is incredibly cozy, making it perfect for snuggling under on chilly evenings. This beautiful throw features large double-seed-stitch-filled cables nestled within a soft reverse stockinette stitch, complemented by a classic garter stitch border for added texture and visual interest.
Suggested Yarn: Cascade Yarns Magnum; 100% Wool; 123 yds [112 m] / 8.82 oz [250 g] - You will need a total of 1250 yds of Birch Heather (9564) to complete this project.
Needles: US #15 [10 mm] circular needles, at least 40" [100 cm] long — or size needed to obtain gauge as specified below.
Notions: In addition to your yarn and needles, you'll also need a cable needle, 2 stitch markers, and a tapestry needle to weave in any ends.
Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 8 stitches and 13 rows per 4 inches [10 cm] in cable pattern, blocked. While exact gauge is not critical for this project, please note that variations in gauge will influence the final size of your blanket.
Size: The finished throw measures approximately 55" by 62.75" [140 by 160 cm], making it a perfect addition to your home decor or a wonderful gift for loved ones.
