Solace Gloves

Like many people, I faced significant challenges during the Covid Pandemic of 2020. The inability to meet with family and friends made those months particularly difficult, especially since I fall into a high-risk category. Being confined to my home for around four months was far from easy for someone like me who thrives on being active and on the go! During this trying time, I, like countless others, found solace in my crafts. I dedicated time to making scrubs for our local NHS, crafted face masks for my entire family, spun several kilos of fleece, and, most importantly, I knitted up a storm. One restless night, unable to sleep, I sketched out several fresh ideas for knitting pattern designs. These patterns, along with my cozy Solace Beanie, are the first to be released from this creative spur. My hope is that you, too, can take comfort and find peace while knitting these patterns.
