However, one detail caught my eye—she was missing a hat! It was a brisk autumn morning, and I could envision how perfect a hat would be to complete her look. Thus, I set out to create a simple yet stylish beret that would be suitable for any age.
This beret is crafted to be warm and tightly knit, ensuring it provides excellent protection against chilly winds. For this purpose, I selected Puffin yarn by Quince & Co., a luxurious 100% American wool that offers both comfort and durability. The unique, dense texture of this yarn, knit at a tighter gauge, not only enhances warmth but also brings a beautiful finish to your work. To add a touch of charm without unnecessary complexity, I incorporated a captivating garter stitch swirl at the crown of the beret, making it a delightful accessory for anyone.
