Basic Pattern Information: Create a stunning and comfortable knitted piece using any DK weight yarn that you adore, perfect for wearing close to your skin. Choose a color that resonates with you, and consider adding an optional accent yarn for the i-cord edging to enhance the design. For this pattern, I opted for two lovely fingering yarns held double to achieve a beautiful marled pink effect, adding a unique twist to the overall look.

Yarn Requirements: For this project, I used Knitting Fever KFI Luxury Collection Adonis DK, a luxurious blend of 50% Wool and 50% Silk. Each skein weighs 3.52 oz/100g and offers approximately 218 yards/200m of yarn, allowing for great versatility in your project. For the main color, I chose Lapis Blue and utilized 5 skeins. If you're feeling adventurous, select some optional accent yarn(s) for the i-cord accented ends—like I did—using two different pink fingering yarns held together for a chic and colorful finish.

Needles and Tools: To successfully complete this project, you will need US8 knitting needles and US6 needles specifically for the i-cord. A size H crochet hook is also recommended for the cast-on process. To keep your work organized, have stitch markers on hand, and a tapestry needle will be essential for weaving in ends and finishing touches.

Gauge Information: The gauge for this pattern is 20 stitches x 25 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch, unblocked. It's important to note that while achieving gauge can affect the total yarn requirement and the final size of the piece, it is not critical for the pattern itself as Stockinette is not utilized in the design. This gives you the creative freedom to explore various yarn choices and textures without strict constraints.

Now, let's get started on this fun and stylish knitting project! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, this pattern allows for creativity and personalization, making it an enjoyable addition to your crafting repertoire.
