Tiny Dots Socks 'n Hat

$3.36

Introducing the adorable and timeless Tiny Dots Hat and Sock Set, the perfect knitting project for both girls and boys! This charming little set is designed with love and was inspired by my excitement for the upcoming arrival of my first grandbaby. It's an ideal choice for novice knitters looking to create a sweet and meaningful gift for new babies.

The Tiny Dots pattern is expertly crafted to help beginners experiment with a simple textured stitch, making it easier to achieve a stunning result. This quick gift project is not only practical but also a delightful way to make use of your leftover sock yarn, fingering yarn, or baby weight yarns. Whether you're knitting for your own little one or a thoughtful gift for a friend, the Tiny Dots Hat and Sock Set adds a personal touch that will be cherished.

I specifically chose this unique textured stitch so that the cozy socks and hat would perfectly complement an old favorite of mine, the "Trendy Topper, Crossover Buttoned Cardigan" (pattern #5 from Patons #612, Baby, Baby), which is sadly no longer in print. This cardigan is featured in one of the accompanying photos to showcase the beautiful coordination of colors and textures. Please Note: While the cardigan is included in the images, the Tiny Dots Socks 'n Hat is the only pattern available for sale on this page.

YARN USED: For this charming set, I used Sandnes Garn Sisu, which comes in a 1.75 oz / 50 g ball (191 yds / 175 m). The yarn composition is 80% Superwash Wool and 20% Nylon, ensuring both comfort and durability for baby garments. You’ll need 1 ball in the Main Colour (MC) - 1002, a lovely Natural shade, and 1 ball in the Contrast Colour (CC) - 1032, an elegant Light Grey.

This cozy hat and sock set is not just a knitting project; it's a heartfelt keepsake that will keep any baby warm and stylish. So grab your needles and start creating unforgettable memories with the Tiny Dots Hat and Sock Set!
