Introducing our gorgeous knitted hat pattern, designed to be beautifully paired with rich Mountain Meadow Wool, Laramie, known for its superior structure, delightful spring, and exceptional softness.

This elegant and simple brim-up hat features a continuous ribbing pattern that flows seamlessly to the top. The cleverly executed decreases create an intriguing crown with a rounded shape, adding visual interest and texture to your finished hat.

Needles Required: Use Size US 8 / 5mm 16" circular needles for the brim and Size US 9 / 5.5mm 16" circular needles for the hat body. Additionally, utilize Size US 9 / 5.5mm double-pointed needles (DPNs) for the decreasing sections of the crown.

Yarn Information: For this project, we recommend Mountain Meadow Wool, Laramie—a premium worsted weight yarn (10 ply), crafted from 100% Mountain Merino Wool and Rambouillet. Each skein contains 200 yards / 100 grams, providing ample yarn for your beautiful hat.

Yardage: You will need 200 yards or less to complete this lovely knitted hat.

Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 16 stitches and 20 rows per 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch to ensure the perfect fit and look.

Other Notions Needed: Be sure to gather 5 stitch markers and a tapestry needle for seamless finishing touches on your hat.
