TV Time Socks

In March 2015, I revamped this popular sock pattern to incorporate German Short Rows, an innovative technique that is both easy to master and yields fantastic results. Previously, I was not entirely satisfied with the heel design, as the double short rows resulted in bulky heels on what are already thicker socks. The new method creates smoother heels and eliminates that pesky heel-hole that can often emerge. Additionally, I have enhanced the pattern language and improved the layout for a more user-friendly experience.

This knitting pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner, so you should be comfortable knitting in the round and using short rows.

Available Sizes: Women’s Small [Women’s Large/Men’s].
To Fit: Women’s shoe sizes 5-8 [Women’s shoe sizes 8-11/Men’s 7-10]. The circumference at both the foot and leg measures 7" [9"], measured after blocking for the perfect finish.
