S (M) L - This pattern is designed to fit a foot circumference of approximately 17.5 cm (size S), 20 cm (size M), and 22.5 cm (size L), which is equivalent to approximately 7” (S), 8” (M), and 9” (L). The sample socks are showcased in size L for your reference.

YARN - You will need 1 skein of Botanical Yarn Sock 4 Ply to complete this project. This high-quality yarn consists of 75% Superwash Merino Wool and 25% Nylon, providing excellent comfort and durability. Each skein contains 425 meters (465 yards) per 100 grams. For our sample socks, we used the beautiful colorway named “Snow,” perfect for adding a soft and cozy touch to your knitting collection.

NEEDLES - For this pattern, you will need 2mm [US 0] circular needles, long enough for magic loop knitting (or whatever size you need to achieve the correct gauge). Note that this pattern is primarily written for the magic loop technique; however, it can also be easily worked on short circular needles. If using short needles, we recommend skipping the “needle 1 & needle 2” instructions. Instead, use stitch markers to mark the beginning of the round and the halfway point, and when you reach the heel flap, simply put the instep stitches on hold for convenience.

GAUGE - It’s crucial to obtain the correct gauge for your socks! Aim for a gauge of 32 stitches and 44 rounds to achieve a measurement of 10 cm [4”] in stockinette stitch after blocking, using your 2mm [US 0] needles.

NOTIONS - Don’t forget your knitting essentials! You will need stitch markers to help keep track of your rounds and a tapestry needle for weaving in those pesky ends once your knitting project is complete.
