Not only do they require minimal yarn, making them budget-friendly, but they can also be as simple or intricate as you desire. While some may find that crafting socks can take a while, that’s not the case with this pattern. ***Vice Versa*** is designed to work up quickly using DK weight yarn, allowing these delightful socks to fly off your needles and right onto your feet in no time. One of the best features of this pattern is that you have the flexibility to choose between knitting them from the toe up or the cuff down, making it suitable for knitters of varying preferences.

Yarn: For the classic look and comfort of these socks, you will need DK weight yarn—specifically, 250 yards (229 m) of Main Color and 100 yards (91 m) of Contrast Color(s). Please note that yardage may vary based on individual foot and leg dimensions. Sample used: Stitch Noir, DK Sock Kit; 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon; 1 hank of Pumpkin Head (250 yds / 229 m) and 1 mini skein each of Black and Pumpkin (50 yds / 46 m each).
Needles: To start your knitting adventure, you will need US3 / 3.25 mm, 32” / 80 cm circular needles. If you prefer, double-pointed needles (DPNs) can also be used as a substitute for crafting these cozy socks.
Notions: Essential tools include a removable stitch marker and a tapestry needle to weave in those pesky ends neatly once you’ve completed your project.
