GAUGE:

Achieve a precise gauge of 21 stitches & 37 rows = 4“/10cm in brioche, blocked. For best results, note that the pre-blocking gauge is 20 stitches & 44 rows = 4“/10cm. Accurate gauge is crucial in ensuring your shawl turns out just as envisioned!

MATERIALS:

This pattern requires fingering weight yarn. The sample shawl is created using Zippy Zebra Hand Dyed Yarn in Mulberry Silk Fingering, with 100 g (3.5 oz.) yielding approximately 429 yards (392 meters) per skein. For this project, you will need 2 skeins in the stunning colorway: Majestic Midnight.

Additionally, gather the following supplies:

  • U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, with a minimum length of 16“
  • Traditional and/or removable stitch markers
  • Darning needle
